Preparations Are Under Way for the International Youth Scientific and Practical Congress «Oil and Gas Horizons», Which Will Be Held From 24 to 26 November
A week ago the selection of participants was over. The competition this year was incredibly high, more than 260 applications from 29 countries. Following consideration, the committee has selected the most interesting and promising works that will be presented next month.
The Congress is organized with the support of the largest oil and gas companies – Halliburton, Salym Petroleum, Schlumberger, Enel, Weatherford, Repsol.
During the event the 5 year tradition will be continued by organizing one of the most worldwide famous intellectual game – PetroOlympic Games. The competition will be held in two stages: the qualifying round in the form of online testing, and final, organized within the walls of Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas. Winners expect a very interesting prize – an internship from our platinum sponsor, the company Halliburton!
In addition, a round table event will be held for all of the student sections of SPE – one of the key activities, which aims to discuss the development of cooperation between universities and of chapters from different cities and countries. Presidents and representatives of student and professional sections will take part in this activity, as well as sponsoring companies.
