  • Qatar Has Begun Work on Expanding the North Pars

    According to the company’s estimates, the expansion of the Severnoye field will increase the production of liquefied natural gas (LNG) by more than 60% – from 77 million to 126 million tons per year. The project is due to be completed in 2027.

It is located in the central part of the Persian Gulf in the territorial waters of Qatar (North) and Iran (South Pars).
