  • Recertification Audit has been successfully completed at Tatneft

    The recertification audit of the Integrated Management System (IMS) for industrial safety, labor and environmental protection to meet the requirements of ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 has been successfully completed at OAO TATNEFT.

    The verification performed by the audit team of 7 persons representing ZAO “Bureau Veritas Certificationy Rus” has covered the functions and elements of the ISM at NGDU “Almetyevneft”, Bugulma Mechanical Plant and Executive Office of OAO TATNEFT

    In has been pointed out in the final report on the results of the audit work presented at the final meeting that the Integrated Management System of OAO TATNEFT meets the requirements of the international standards. The auditors have highlighted the strong aspects of OAO TATNEFT’s IMS, which, inter alia, include: leadership and involvement of the Company’s senior management, a high involvement level of managers and specialists of divisions, a clear focus on the proactive nature of the IMS functioning, application of modern IT-technologies, industrial culture, a focus on continuous improvement of the system, as well as information transparency and accountability in terms of providing the information about essential production risks.

    The report document has got the conclusion that the Integrated Management System used in the industrial safety, labor and environmental protection has been developed, implemented and is being maintained in accordance with the international standards requirements and it is recommended for recertification.

    This is the second recertification audit of the Integrated Management System of the industrial safety, labor and environmental protection of OAO TATNEFT. The first one with obtaining new certificates of conformity to the international standards took place in September 2009.
