  • RN-Nyaganneftegaz Increased Requirements for Baker Hughes Oil Services to 28 Million

The Rosneft structure presented new losses to oil services

New proceedings are beginning in the Arbitration Court of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug between the oil company RN-Nyaganneftegaz LLC and the Baker Hughes oil service company. The well construction customer presented new demands to the contractor in the amount of about 7 million rubles.

At the same time, the district arbitration court is currently considering another claim by RN-Nyaganneftegaz and Baker Hughes for 19 million rubles. The oil industry is seeking damages under a contract for the provision of services for technical and technological support for directional drilling due to non-productive time caused by the defendant.

Last year, RN-Nyaganneftegaz managed to recover 17.6 million rubles from Baker Hughes for downtime at the well drilling site in the cluster area of the Em-Egovsky and Kamennoye license areas. The oil service company failed to challenge the decision on appeal. Baker-Hughes lawyers argued in court that the company was not at fault, but the court did not accept the arguments, since the parties signed acts of unproductive time, in which the defendant is listed as the culprit of the incident.
