RN-Nyaganneftegaz: Replenished Oil Reserves by 282% in 2021

The RN-Nyaganneftegaz company, which is part of the oil production block of Rosneft Oil Company, replenished its reserves by 282% or almost 13 million tons of oil in 2021 based on the results of geological exploration and production drilling.

Increasing the efficiency of reserves replenishment is one of the key elements of the Company’s strategy. RN-Nyaganneftegaz is working on the development of new territories, implementing a program of geological exploration at new and mature fields, including drilling exploration wells, sampling cores and formation fluids from exploration and production wells, and performing high-tech geophysical surveys in wells.

Also in 2021, RN-Nyaganneftegaz specialists completed 250 km2 of field 3D seismic surveys, the results of processing and interpretation of which will help determine the strategy for the implementation of further exploration work.
