RN-Purneftegaz Produces 120 Billion Cubic Meters of Gas
The cumulative production of gas “RN-Purneftegas” has reached 120 bcm 3 . The enterprise is a major center for the production of hydrocarbons by NK Rosneft in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, and operates at 9 fields.
High rates of gas production are ensured through the efficient implementation of geological and technical measures, drilling new gas wells at the Barsukovskoye and Gubkinskoye fields. Prospects for increasing production of gas and gas condensate are associated with the Jurassic deposits of the Barsukovskoye field.
RN-Purneftegaz has successfully implemented the activities of the target gas program, due to which the level of rational use of associated petroleum gas is about 99%, which is one of the highest indicators in the industry. As part of the program, the compressor stations of the Komsomolskoye, Ust-Kharampurskoye, Kharampurskoye fields, as well as the associated petroleum gas collection system of the Barsukovskaya group of fields, were put into operation. All objects of the gas program are equipped with modern equipment; production processes are controlled in an automatic mode.
Associated petroleum and natural gas from the fields of the Barsukovsky, Komsomolsky and Tarasovsky directions is supplied to the facilities for the preparation and compression of gas, where it is prepared to commercial quality. The existing infrastructure makes it possible to redistribute gas flows between consumers.
At the booster compressor station of the Komsomolskoye field, in the process of gas preparation by the method of low-temperature separation, a fraction of light hydrocarbons is released, which is sold to consumers as a separate product.
The prepared gas from the Tarasovskoye field is also sent as fuel for the needs of the Tarasovskaya gas-piston power plant with a capacity of 52 MW.
