RN-Stavropolneftegaz: Celebrates its 65th Anniversary
RN-Stavropolneftegaz, the production asset of Rosneft, celebrates 65 years since the start of production. The enterprise is developing subsoil in three districts of the Stavropol Territory: Neftekumsky urban district, Levokumsky and Budennovsky districts. Today the company is developing 32 oil and oil and gas condensate fields in 36 license areas.
In total, the oilmen of RN-Stavropolneftegaz produced over 173 million tons of oil and gas condensate and about 6 billion m3 of gas. Over 2 thousand oil and gas wells have been drilled.
Based on the results of exploratory drilling in 2019 and 2020, 19 new wells were put into operation, more than 30 hydraulic fracturing operations were successfully completed to stimulate oil flow. Due to exploration work, the growth of AB1 category oil reserves in 2019 exceeded 0.6 million tons and 0.2 billion cubic meters of gas.
Exploratory drilling in 2020 and 2021 at the Zimne-Stavkinsko-Pravoberezhnoye and Achikulakskoye fields will increase the company’s reserves in the amount of more than 1 million tons of oil.
Rosneft continues to modernize the production facilities of RN-Stavropolneftegaz. The long-term plans for the development of the enterprise include production and exploration drilling, work with marginal and highly watered oil wells, reducing the amount of land used and increasing the resource base, as well as developing a personnel reserve.
RN-Stavropolneftegaz is the largest taxpayer in the Stavropol Territory, the company successfully implements social and charitable projects in the territory of its presence, and also pays special attention to the environmental safety of production.
