  • RN-Uvatneftegaz: 15 Millionth Ton of Oil Produced at the Fields of Central Uvat

The RN-Uvatneftegaz company, which is part of the oil production complex of NK Rosneft, produced the 15 millionth ton of oil from the group of fields in Central Uvat. At present, it accounts for almost 40% of the company’s total oil production.

The Central Uvat fields are combined into two large hubs – Tyamkinsky and Protozanovsky. Their production fund is more than 200 wells.

The common infrastructure of the hubs – oil gathering points, pumping stations, pipelines, gas turbine power plants – allows the company to develop autonomous fields and satellite fields with high efficiency.

At present, the company conducts the most intensive drilling at the Central Uvat fields, where 10 drilling rigs are involved. Since the beginning of this year, production drilling has made about 300 thousand meters, and 72 wells have been drilled. In exploration drilling, 13 drilling rigs have drilled more than 40 thousand meters in 9 months of 2020, completed drilling of 13 exploratory wells.

Next year, RN-Uvatneftegaz plans to put into operation two new shift residential complexes – at the Protozanovskoye and Tyamkinskoye fields. The existing and new infrastructure of the hub will allow the company to ensure positive dynamics of hydrocarbon production in Central Uvat in the future.
