  • RN-Uvatneftegaz Begins Creating Infrastructure at the Tavrichesky Field

RN-Uvatneftegaz (part of the oil production complex of Rosneft) is starting to create an industrial infrastructure for the development of a new field – Tavrichesky. A set of geological exploration activities was carried out at the field, 11 prospecting and exploration wells were drilled. To effectively develop complex reserves in horizontal wells, multi-stage hydraulic fracturing operations will be carried out.

The creation of new infrastructure at the Tavricheskoye field will make it possible to subsequently begin the development of two other fields: Rezvovskoye and them. Yu.V. Oznobikhina. All of them will be part of the developing Tyamkinsky hub, where the necessary production base for the preparation and transportation of oil has already been created.

The development of fields of the Uvat project by creating large centers – hubs allows for the economically efficient development of satellite fields through the use of a common production infrastructure.

A pumping station, 110 kV overhead power lines, substations, oil and gas gathering pipelines will be built at the Tavrichesky field. Logistics facilities include storage areas for materials and equipment, and a residential camp will be built for rotational personnel.

Putting into development the fields of the southern part of the Tyamkinsky hub is of fundamental importance for the development of the entire Uvat project and maintaining the level of oil production achieved by the enterprise in the medium term.

Increasing the efficiency of reserve replenishment and their consistent introduction into development is one of the key elements of Rosneft’s strategy. The development of promising projects is one of the strategic objectives to ensure sustainable growth of the Company.
