  • RN-Uvatneftegaz Launched The Severo-Nemchinovskoye Field Into Commercial Production

The RN-Uvatneftegaz company (part of the oil production complex of Rosneft Oil Company) has launched commercial operation of the Severo-Nemchinovskoye field of the Uvat project.

The flow rate of the first production well of the Severo-Nemchinovskoye field is more than 140 tons/day. During its construction, 10 hydraulic fracturing stages were performed. Also, 3D seismic exploration was carried out at the field, exploration wells were drilled, and the necessary infrastructure was created to connect the new asset with the Tyamkinsky production hub.

The development of deposits using the method of forming hubs at the Uvat project allows for the efficient development of smaller satellite deposits through the use of existing production infrastructure.

In the short term, it is planned to drill more than 30 horizontal wells at the Severo-Nemchinovskoye field. Technologies that increase reservoir productivity, such as multi-stage hydraulic fracturing, will be used. To optimize the timing of construction and commissioning of wells, their drilling will be carried out simultaneously by two installations with counter movement.

Increasing the efficiency of reserve replenishment and their consistent introduction into development is one of the key elements of Rosneft’s development strategy.

RN-Uvatneftegaz makes a significant contribution to the development of the industrial potential of the region. The commissioning of new fields and production facilities creates qualified jobs. The participation of local contractors and suppliers in the implementation of the Uvat project has a multiplier effect on the development of the regional economy.
