RN-Vankor: 2016 Production Drilling Up 3%
By the end of 2016 RN-Vankor had increased the volume of production drilling, on the Vankor field cluster, by 3% compared with 2015 – up to 305.2 thousand meters..
This was facilitated by the increase in the volume of drilling in Suzun Tagul and deposits, as well as growth in commercial drilling speed due to the commissioning of additional facilities and drilling infill wells. To improve the efficiency of production at the Vankor fields of cluster development is horizontal wells.
Total results of 2016 was put into commercial operation 88 wells, 57 of them – mining, 27 – injection and 4 – water intake.
In the current year, “RN-Vankor” plans to increase drilling volumes. The increase in development drilling is expected to achieve by increasing the fleet of drilling rigs and drilling to increasing the commercial speed Suzun, Tagul fields.
