ROGTEC on the Road!

As always – it has been a busy spring and early summer for the ROGTEC “On the Road” team, sponsoring and partnering with the region´s leading events to ensure maximum awareness for our advertisers.

This year, the team travelled across the region ensuring ROGTEC had significant exposure at all the key events and once again ensuring ROGTEC was the most visual regional magazine at the events!

The ROGTEC road trip covered many miles and started at the Russia´s most important yearly gathering of drilling heads and experts, the RDCR, Russian Drilling Roundtable.

RDCR 2016

Launched in 2012, the RDCR, www.rdcr.net, has quickly become the leading drilling focused event for Russia, gathering drilling heads and experts from all the regional operators and drilling contractors, meeting and interacting with local and international suppliers of drilling equipment and services.

This year´s RDCR, organized by TMG Worldwide, saw record levels of high level delegates attending, with management teams participating from all the leading players including: Rosneft, GazpromNeft, Lukoil, Salym Petroleum, Novatek, Sakhalin Energy, Gazprom Drilling, BKE, Targin, Nabors, KCA, PNG, CAT Oil, Integra.

With such a high level delegation and a fantastic itinerary, this day was always going to be the “must attend” event in 2016 for the Russian drilling sector and ROGTEC Magazine was proud to be the events “Official Media Partner”, distributing a copy to every delegate and participant. Copies were availble within the delegate bag and also around the event itself. The RDCR produced an excellent platform for the regional giants to get together under one roof, meeting with friends and industry colleagues, to share ideas, best practices and to discuss the short and long-term challenges within the Russian drilling sector.

The RDCR also gave the leading local and international technology and service providers a chance to meet and interact directly with their partners and customers, to further highlight the benefit of the latest drilling technologies and best practices.

ROGTEC was proud to be the official magazine at such a high level event. The roundtable participants included key drilling figures as: Kevin Wilson, Director of Drilling Lukoil, Vasily Kireev, Deputy Director of Onshore Drilling Rosneft, Alexander Bogachev, Senior Vice President EDC Group, Rob Tinkhof, Well Engineer SPD, Georgy Sadetsky, Head of Drilling Gazprom Neft, Vladislav Tenishev, Snr. Manager Lukoil, Alexksandr Popov, Drilling Operations RN-Uvatneftegaz, Alexey Valisevich Deputy Director Drilling Lukoil, Sergey Zhivotovsky Executive Director Targin amongst many others.

Neftegaz 2016, Moscow

Our next stop was the Neftegaz exhibition and conference, one of the biggest oil and gas events in Russia, attracting exhibitors from all over the globe, looking to promote their products and services to the sector.

It was all change for Neftegaz in 2016, with this industry leading event changing from its usual late June slot to mid-April. Previously Neftegaz and MIOGE have alternated every other year, but it seems that Neftegaz will be now be a yearly feature on the event calendar in Moscow every April.

ROGTEC Magazine, having attending this event for well over a decade, once again dominated the print media companies from its central booth location, with well over 4,000 bonus copies distributed from our stand, the exclusive “racks” at each of the events entrances, and by the ROGTEC team of girls, covering the entire venue and ensuring every who wanted a copy had easy access to one.

Caspian Oil and Gas Exhibition, Baku

Baku was the next stop for the ROGTEC team, supporting this key event for the Azeri O&G sector.

The Caspian Oil and Gas Exhibition, although smaller in size this year due to the current market conditions, once again attracted the biggest players in the Azeri oil patch and saw great visitor numbers.

The team in Baku was proud to see many old industry colleagues and make new contacts and friends from companies wishing to enter the Azeri oil and gas sector.

KDR 2016

With the summer now truly underway and the holiday season kicking in, the ROGTEC team will focus for our next stage of our tour, which will see ROGTEC as the “Official Partner” magazine to the KDR, Kazakh Drilling Roundtable, www.kazdr.kz – the must attend event for the Kazakh Drilling Sector.

The 2nd KDR is taking place on the 16th September 2016 at the Rixos Hotel in Astana. Organised in direct partnership between TMG Worldwide and JSC NC KazMunayGas – the 2nd KDR is much anticipated by the Kazakh drilling sector. As a strategically important event for the national company – the KDR will see an improved format and will also including contract signing ceremonies between operators and service companies. ROGTEC will be the official publication to the KDR and will add further circulation to this important oil and gas market.
