  • Roman Panov has Heen Appointed to the Position of President of GEOTEK

    A new stage of development is beginning for one of the leaders of the Russian geological exploration market, the Geotek company. Roman Panov was appointed president of the company. The decision was approved by the board of directors of Geotech JSC.

    Panov has serious expertise in the management and development of raw materials and exploration assets. Roman Sergeevich’s many years of experience as the head of the Rosgeology holding, as well as the first vice president of Gazprombank, will allow Geotech JSC to continue active development in key business areas and ensure the successful implementation of the company’s strategy until 2028.

    “Today Geotek is working to modernize its equipment fleet, develop the technological base, as well as form a base of projects in the medium term in the Russian and foreign markets. The company faces the task of diversifying its activities and strengthening its competencies in the production of high-tech equipment in the field of geological exploration. This work meets the national priority of the Russian Federation to increase the level of technological sovereignty,” noted Roman Panov.

    Geotek JSC is included in the list of systemically important organizations according to the minutes of the meeting of the Government Commission on increasing the sustainability of the Russian economy. The company is a leader in Russia in the field of seismic exploration on land and in the transit zone, providing professional services in all major oil and gas regions of the Russian Federation, in the CIS countries and in foreign markets. Geotek makes a significant contribution to the implementation of the state program for the reproduction of Russia’s mineral resource base in the oil and gas sector.
