  • RORC to Increase Autogas Output by 30% in 2013

ТNК-ВР reports that in 2013 CJSC Ryazan Oil Refinery Company (part of the ТNК-ВР Group) plans to increase production of autogas (automobile propane-butane) by 30% – to 3.9 k tons.

TNK-BP is consistently implementing a large scale program to upgrade RORC capacities and implement new technology to increase production efficiency. As a result of improving the operation of the refinery’s gas fractionation unit, technical gases released in the process of gasoline production are now used to produce autogas.

“Continuous operations efficiency improvement is a key driver of TNK-BP’s sustainable development. Upgrading the gas fractionation unit will allow not only the diversification of RORC’s product range, but also the improvement of environmental characteristics of the fuel,” says Anatoly Skoromets, RORC General Director.
