  • Rosgeo and the Ministry of Mining of India Discussed the Prospects for Cooperation in Geological Exploration

    On July 18, 2024, a meeting of the leadership of Rosgeology with a delegation of the Republic of India was at the head of the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Mining of the Government of India Kantha RAO. The meeting on the Indian side was attended by the Deputy General Director of the Geological Service of India Pramod Kumar Singh, representatives of industry state and private companies.

    The General Director – Chairman of the Board of Rosgeo JSC Sergey Radkov told guests about competencies, production and scientific potential of the holding, the experience of the Rosgeo enterprises in India, the proposals for cooperation as part of the implementation of the Memorandum of understanding signed by the Rosgeo and the Indian Geological Service in December 2021.

    The Deputy Minister of Mining of the Government of India Kantha RAO spoke about new opportunities for the participation of Russian companies in projects for the search and exploration of solid minerals in India, invited Rosgeo to participate in tenders for the GRR.

    During the meeting, the guests presented materials on the successful work of Rosgeo enterprises for state and commercial contracts for the search and assessment of solid minerals, geophysical work on the ATS, work on the shelf and at the bottom of the ocean, on their own production of equipment and the development of software for exploration.

    According to the results of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue the exchange of information in the format of expert consultations to coordinate possible areas of cooperation.
