  • Rosgeo Signed A Contract With Iran For Almost 2 Billion Rubles

    In March, Rosgeology signed a contract with Iran for almost 2 billion rubles, the signing of a technical agreement is expected before May, work on the contract will begin this year, ex-head of the company Sergei Gorkov said during an extended meeting of the board of Rosgeology.

    “We are now actively operating in Africa, more than 10 contracts. It is important that we have returned to the CIS, we have a large amount of field work in Uzbekistan (worth 1.5 billion rubles)… We are working in Mongolia, we have completed three contracts, we hope for additional contract. Last month we signed a large contract with Iran, worth almost 2 billion rubles, which starts this year. We expect the signing of a technical agreement by May 1 of this year,” he said.

    Gorkov’s contract as head of Rosgeo expired on March 31, and in the near future he will act. Sergei Radkov, who oversees the topic of solid minerals at Rosgeology, will be appointed head of the company.
