“Rosgeologiya” in the First Half of the Year Received 3 Billion Rubles of Net Loss Under IFRS
“Rosgeologia” in the first half of the year received a net loss of 2.996 billion rubles under IFRS (the indicator “profit / loss attributable to the shareholders of the parent company” – IF) against a profit of 587 million rubles for the same period last year, the state holding reports.
At the same time, the consolidated revenue of Rosgeo JSC for the reporting period increased 1.4 times, to 11.27 billion rubles, gross profit decreased by 30%, to 113 million rubles.
Operating loss amounted to 2.99 billion rubles against operating profit of 2.55 billion rubles a year earlier. In the first half of 2022, operating profit was provided mainly by income from the disposal of subsidiaries (5.6 billion rubles).
The company draws attention to the seasonality of its activities: the first half of the year traditionally accounts for a smaller amount of revenue and the bulk of purchases and production costs.
At the end of 2022, the state holding “Rosgeologia” received 559 million rubles of net profit under IFRS, which is 2.4% higher than in 2021.
