Rosneft Holds Record-Breaking Scientific and Technical Online Conference
Rosneft held an online scientific and technical conference Digital Technologies in the Production and Processing of Hydrocarbons: From Models to Practice. The event brought together more than 500 representatives of industry enterprises, research organizations and universities from different cities of Russia, which is a record for the online format.
Digitalization in all areas of the Company’s activity is one of the key objectives of the Rosneft 2022 Strategy. As the technology leader in the Russian oil industry and realizing the scale of the impact of its business, the Company pays special attention to innovative development.
On the virtual site of Rosneft, it was possible to gather, on the one hand, representatives of science, on the other, engineering practice. Such a tandem of theorists and practitioners is especially relevant in view of the fact that the Company develops its own high-tech software, which it successfully implements at its production facilities. Rosneft’s software products are in demand not only in Russia, but also abroad.
This year the scientific and technical conference is dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the Corporate Research and Development Complex of the Company, the largest oil and gas research center in Europe. The organizer was the corporate research institute “RN-BashNIPIneft”, everyone could attend the conference.
In a difficult epidemiological situation, Rosneft quickly responds to changes and actively uses remote forms of communication. This allows you to increase the efficiency of corporate business processes and interaction with partner companies in the oil and gas industry.
