Rosneft Increased Hydrocarbon Production by 1.3 Percent
Rosneft in the first quarter of 2023 increased hydrocarbon production by 1.3% compared to the previous quarter, to 5.6 million barrels of oil equivalent per day, the company said.
“Hydrocarbon production in the first quarter of 2023 reached 5.6 million barrels of oil equivalent per day, an increase of 1.3% qoq,” the report says.
At the same time, the production of liquid hydrocarbons in the first quarter amounted to 4 million barrels per day, which is 0.8% higher than the level of the fourth quarter of 2022.
“The volume of oil refining in the Russian Federation in the 1st quarter of 2023 amounted to 22.6 million tons. The depth of oil refining increased to 76%, the yield of light oil products – up to 57.1%,” the company said in a release.
Rosneft notes that it is systematically working to develop domestic technologies and import substitution. So, in the first quarter, based on the results of a pilot run, the possibility of industrial production of winter and arctic diesel fuel using isodewaxing and hydrofinishing catalysts developed by specialists from Rosneft’s Angarsk Catalyst Plant was confirmed.
