Rosneft Produced 131.3 Million Tons of Oil in the First Half of the Year
Rosneft‘s hydrocarbon production in the first half of the year amounted to 131.3 million tons of oil equivalent (5.362 million barrels per day), the company said.
At the same time, the production of liquid hydrocarbons was recorded in the amount of 92.8 million tons (3.796 million b/d), gas – 46.8 billion cubic meters (1.566 million b/d). More than a third of the company‘s gas production is provided by new projects in the Yamalo–Nenets Autonomous Okrug, introduced in 2022, the NK clarifies.
The penetration in production drilling exceeded 5.9 million meters, more than 1.4 thousand new wells were commissioned, 71% of them are horizontal. Onshore, Rosneft performed 1.2 thousand square kilometers of 2D seismic work and 4.7 thousand square kilometers of 3D seismic work, completed testing of 15 exploration wells with a success rate of 87%.
Within the framework of the Vostok Oil project, 0.7 thousand square kilometers of 2 D seismic exploration and 0.6 thousand square kilometers of 3 D work were completed, 1 well was tested, 2 wells were drilled, tests are being conducted at 2 more wells, pilot development of the Payakhskoe, Ichemminskoe and Baykalovskoe fields continues: penetration in production drilling amounted to 42 thousand meters, drilling of 6 production wells has been completed. As of the end of the first half of the year, more than 65 thousand piles were installed on the Vankor – Payakha – North Bay main oil pipeline, more than 280 km of pipeline were welded, including a two-pipe section with a length of 78 km, the laying of the main thread of the pipeline crossing the Yenisei River was completed, work on backfilling the trench is being completed, dredging work for laying a backup thread has begun. The company has completed most of the work on two cargo ships, as well as one berth for the port fleet at the Port Bay North terminal, continues construction of an oil loading dock, and is working on the construction of an oil acceptance point. More than 830 thousand tons of materials and equipment were delivered to the production facilities of the project along the Northern Sea Route and winter roads, which is 32% more than a year earlier.
The volume of oil refining by the company in the Russian Federation in the reporting period amounted to 40.9 million tons, 1,130 tons of catalysts for hydrotreating diesel fuel and gasoline fractions, as well as protective layer catalysts were produced. Rosneft‘s enterprises also produced more than 100 tons of gasoline reforming catalysts and 185 tons of catalysts for the production of hydrogen, petrochemicals and adsorbents, and 630 tons of coked catalysts for hydrotreating diesel fuel were regenerated. The company sold 21.6 million tons of petroleum products on the domestic market, including 6.4 million tons of gasoline and 8.8 million tons of diesel fuel. Rosneft sold 5 million tons of gasoline and diesel fuel on the stock exchange, which is 2 times higher than the norm. The company‘s share in the total volume of exchange sales of gasoline and diesel fuel amounted to 38%.
