  • Rosneft Produced the 10 Millionth Ton of Oil at the Tagulskoye Field

RN-Vankor (part of Rosneft’s oil production complex) has produced 10 million tons of oil at the Tagulskoye field since the start of its operation.

Oil production at the Tagulskoye field is provided by 224 wells. Oil treatment is carried out at four mobile oil treatment units. Commercial quality oil is transported via the main oil pipeline Vankor – Purpe with a length of 556 km.

Currently, construction of new oil and gas production and treatment facilities, inter-field pipelines, power generation facilities and social infrastructure continues at the Tagulsky production site.

The Tagulskoye field, along with the Vankorskoye, Suzunskoye, and Lodochnoye fields, are merged into the Vankorsky cluster of Rosneft. At present, the fields with their extensive infrastructure have become the basis of the largest Vostok Oil project in the modern world oil and gas industry.

Tagul uses modern technologies and design solutions implemented at the Vankor field and provides a high degree of environmental protection, industrial safety and labor protection. Due to the peculiarities of the geological structure of the field, new engineering solutions are being tested to increase the oil recovery factor.
