Rosneft: Starts Construction of River Berth Infrastructure for the Vostok Oil Project
Rosneft has begun construction of berths on the Yenisei River to develop transport logistics for the Vostok Oil megaproject. The bases under construction Tochino, Tanalau and the Sever Bay are located in the Taimyr Dolgano-Nenets District of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. In the near future, storage sites for materials and equipment will be organized at the river bases for the subsequent delivery of goods to the fields of the new project.
During the navigation period, thousands of tons of pipe products, crushed stone, road slabs and metal structures were imported for the construction of berthing facilities.
The berthing infrastructure is being built to improve the efficiency of cargo delivery during river navigation and to provide priority construction projects with material and technical resources. It is also planned to use the river port of Dudinka to fulfill the logistics tasks of the Vostok Oil project.
In addition, the delivery of goods to the construction and operation facilities of the Vostok Oil fields will be organized by winter roads.
Currently, loading operations are underway to deliver materials and equipment along the river to the Taimyr bases to ensure the construction of priority facilities for the Vostok Oil project.
