  • Rosneft, USPTU and Tsinghua University Agree on Cooperation in Education

    Rosneft, the Ufa State Petroleum Technological University (USPTU) and one of China’s leading universities, Tsinghua University, signed a cooperation agreement on personnel training during the III Russian-Chinese Energy Business Forum.

    Personnel training and development are priority tasks under the Rosneft-2022 strategy. The Company provides opportunities for its employees to continuously improve their professional and personal skills and competencies.

    Rosneft’s unified corporate training system covers all categories of personnel and lines of business. Teachers from the best Russian and foreign universities, educational and consulting companies are engaged to provide training. Such programmes are adapted to meet the Company’s current and strategic objectives.

    The cooperation agreement with Tsinghua University and USPTU provides for the possibility to organise training of the Company’s employees under joint educational programmes, including such areas as decarbonisation and reduction of carbon footprint, administration and management of digital projects, digitalisation, management of scientific, technological and innovation activities.

    The Agreement also provides for joint roundtables, internships, meetings and conferences. A joint working group will be set up to implement the Agreement on a parity basis.
