  • Rosneft’s Specialists Have Implemented a Voice Assistant Module in the RN-KIN Oil-Engineering Software Package

Rosneft’s specialists have implemented the voice assistant module in an integrated digital environment for monitoring, analyzing and designing RN-KIN fields. Testing the module showed that with the help of a voice assistant, an employee using corporate software throughout the working day will be able to search for the necessary information to complete their work twice as fast – in 4-5 hours, which will bring significant economic effect.

As part of the digital strategy, Rosneft has developed a unique set of RN-KIN oil-engineering tools. The software package allows you to quickly access and analyze any geological and technological information on wells / deposits and quickly carry out engineering calculations in order to optimize the operation of the reservoir and increase oil recovery.

The voice assistant module is based on user voice recognition methods using acoustic and language models based on a language dictionary. The received data is adapted with a recognition accuracy of more than 95%. Then, with the help of machine learning methods, semantic objects are selected and their quality is checked, which allows to execute accurately and quickly various commands in the software. The voice assistant also notifies the user of the execution of the command using automatic speech generation.
