Once expanded in the cased hole, the AZIP has been exposed to pressured nitrogen while undergoing temperature and differential pressure cycles without experiencing any leaks. Saltel Engineering team has completed this qualification per all ISO 14310 VO standard criteria.
WORKING PRINCIPLE
Saltel Xpandable Steel Annular Zonal Isolation Packer (AZIP) is a unique, stainless steel expandable packer with a high expansion ratio and high differential pressure capability. The AZIP prevents flow between casings or between the casing and open hole to provide cement assurance, prevent the build-up of annular surface pressure, create compartmentalization within the reservoir or isolation between reservoirs.
