  • Salym Petroleum Development: Exceeded 2014 Oil Production Plan

In 2014 the total annual production from the Salym oil fields in Western Siberia, developed by Salym Petroleum Development N.V. (SPD), made 6.55 million tons (47.1 million barrels).

SPD delivered annual oil production plan for 2014 ahead-of-schedule and by the year-end exceeded the planned figure by 4%. SPD production success went hand in hand with an excellent execution of the well intervention program. During 2014 SPD executed well interventions on 275 wells (255 wells in the plan) including delivery of new wells, hydraulic fracturing, perforations, ESP and well technical mode optimizations.

The total cumulative Salym fields oil production volume exceeded 58 mln tons.
