Seismologists of Belorusneft Began Testing Import-Substituting Equipment at a New Area
On October 13, at the Maysko-Makeevsko-Dneprovskaya area, specialists from the field seismic exploration department of Belorusneft began testing import-substituting equipment, BelTA was told at the enterprise.
“The equipment has already been successfully tested in real projects in the Far North, Western Siberia and the Far East. Based on the results of experimental work in the Maysko-Makeevsko-Dneprovskaya area, an assessment will be made of the quality of the field material obtained, the possibility of using this equipment for 3D and carrying out seismic monitoring during hydraulic fracturing,” explained Belorusneft.
The production association “Belorusneft” was created in 1966. The company searches, explores and develops oil fields, drills wells, produces oil and associated petroleum gas in Belarus, and works in the oil sector of other countries.
