  • Sergei Radkov Will Be Appointed Acting General Director Of Rosgeologia

At the same time, the head of the Russian Ministry of Natural Resources, Alexander Kozlov, noted that Sergei Gorkov, who has headed the holding since April 2019, will remain on the board.

Deputy General Director of Rosgeologiya Sergei Radkov will be appointed acting head of the holding. This was announced by the chairman of the holding’s board of directors, head of the Russian Ministry of Natural Resources, Alexander Kozlov, during an extended meeting of the holding’s board of directors.

At the same time, Kozlov noted that Sergei Gorkov, who has headed Rosgeologiya since April 2019, will remain on the holding’s board. “We thank him very much for the work he did as CEO,” he said.

Since 2021, Radkov has supervised the work on solid minerals at Rosgeologiya.

The minister added that after the appointment of the acting head of Rosgeologia, the process of approving the general director will begin. “These are all procedural things. For us, the most important thing is that geological work does not stop, that field expeditions begin on time and people receive salaries,” Kozlov emphasized.

Earlier, TASS sources close to Rosgeologia reported that Gorkov’s contract expired in early April. However, there were no documents about the extension of his powers or about the appointment of a new leader.
