Siemens: Sinamics G120P Cabinet Custom-made for pumps, fans, and compressors
The Sinamics G120P Cabinet extends the power spectrum of the Sinamics G120P product series to 200 kW. The new inverter cabinet unit enables control of pump, fan, and compressor applications rated up to 200 kW (and soon up to 400 kW). In line with the Integrated Drive Systems (IDS) strategy, the Sinamics G120P Cabinet is optimally adapted to operation with Simotics Severe Duty and Flexible Duty motors. Thanks to the optimal interaction of its components, the IDS ensures high system efficiency as well as a long product and plant life. Integrated energy-saving functions further increase the energy efficiency of the entire plant. To facilitate economical plant operation, the Sinamics G120P series provides application-specific functions such as the multizone controller, which controls the drive speed depending on process variables such as temperature, pressure, flow, and air quality.
In addition to its intelligent functions, the new inverter is characterized by easy installation and commissioning. The Sizer and Startdrive software tools support the user in these processes with wizards and macros that are specific to pumps, fans, and compressors. Thanks to its rugged design, the Sinamics G120P Cabinet also permits reliable operation in harsh industrial environments and offers maximum plant availability with low maintenance.
