Surgutneftegas Increased Oil Production by 7.4 Percent in 2022
Surgutneftegas increased oil production by 7.4% last year to 59.6 million tons, the company said.
“In the reporting year, oil production by Surgutneftegas PJSC amounted to 59.6 million tons, which is 7.4% higher than in 2021,” the company’s report says. It is noted that in 2022, Surgutneftegaz carried out more than nine thousand different well operations of geological and technical measures, due to which an additional 7.4 million tons of oil were produced.
Gas production amounted to 8.3 billion cubic meters.
The volume of investments in the oil and gas sector increased to 261.3 billion rubles, of which 86% were in Western Siberia and 14% in Eastern Siberia.
Surgutneftegaz is one of the largest oil companies in Russia. The central office is located in Surgut.
