“In 2023, the volume of oil production of the company amounted to 56.4 million tons, gas production – 7 billion cubic meters. The volume of investments in the oil and gas production sector increased by 11.7% and reached 320.8 billion rubles, of which 87% had to Western Siberia and 13% – to Eastern Siberia, ” is indicated in the report.
The volume of hydrocarbon processing at the company’s refinery in 2023 increased by 4.1% to 17.7 million tons. The production of oil products increased by 3.7%, amounting to 17.2 million tons. Surgutneftegaz sent 3.5 billion cubic meters of gas to its gas processing plant and produced 3.3 billion cubic meters of dry bleached gas and 430 thousand tons of liquid hydrocarbons. At the end of 2023, the sales enterprises of Surgutneftegaz totaled 273 gas stations, the volume of the sale of petroleum products through which amounted to 765 thousand tons.
“Significant drilling volumes allowed the company to commission 945 new oil wells – this is 11% of all wells introduced in 2023 in Russia,” the report says.
Last year, the share of the company in operational drilling among Russian oil and gas companies amounted to 14.6%, in the exploration – 22.5%.
