Tatneft Almetyevneft: Renat Nugaybekov Appointed General Director

Renat Nugaybekov, who previously held the Director’s position of OOO “TMS Group” Management Company, was appointed Head of “Almetyevneft” Oil and Gas Producing Division of PJSC TATNEFT.

Renat Nugaybekov was born on August 16, 1970 in the village of Tumutuk, Aznakaevo area. Education: graduate degree. In 1992 he graduated from the Ufa Oil Institute and in 1994 he graduated from the California State University in Bakersfield, in 2001 – from the Academy of National Economy under the Russian Federation Government. He is fluent in English, Ph.D. in Engineering Science; he defended his thesis on the subject: “Enhancing the operation efficiency of marginal wells (through the example of the Novo- Elkhovskoye crude oil field)”.

He started his career in 1992 as the crude oil and gas production operator of TsDNG (oil and gas production shop) No. 1 of NGDU “Elkhovneft”. Soon he became a production foreman there, in 1994 he was appointed deputy head of the production shop and subsequently the production shop head at NGDU “Elkhovneft” in 1996; in 1998-2005 he worked as a Deputy Head of NGDU “Elkhovneft” Production Division for construction and during the period of 2005-2016 he was in the Director position of OOO “TMS Group” Management Company.

Honorary Oilman of the Russian Federation’s Ministry of Industry and Energy he was awarded the 2nd Class Medal of the Order “For Services to the Fatherland”, medals “In memory of the Kazan’s 1000th anniversary”, “In commemoration of the three billionth tonne of crude oil production in Tatarstan”, “150 years of the birth of V.I. Vernadsky” and other awards. He is the author of patents for inventions, utility models and copyright certificates. He was among the winners of the RT Government Award for the quality in 2012; co-author of several brochures and books. He has been elected Deputy of the Kichuy rural settlement since October 2005. He is married and has two sons.
