TATNEFT Automated the Greenhouse Gas Management System
The company successfully uses the Greenhouse Gases software module to control greenhouse gas emissions.
The strategic goal of the Company is to achieve carbon neutrality in 2050. The software product developed by Tatneft together with KomEco specialists provides for the preparation of reports on greenhouse gas emissions.
The implemented system makes it possible to calculate emissions for all technological processes, generate reports for stakeholders, and plan measures to reduce CO2 emissions.
The module is an emission accounting system for Scope 1, 2, 3 with access to the databases of the Group’s enterprises, which eliminates the risk of errors when entering information.
The calculation takes into account the intensity of production and technological processes, the properties of fuel, raw materials and materials, emission factors characterizing the specific volume of emissions, global warming potential.
The introduction of the system increased the speed and quality of preparation of consolidated financial statements for the Tatneft Group.
