  • TATNEFT: Developing a Compacted Well Grid Project

    The company received approval from Glavgosexpertiza for the construction of 9 new wells at the Yamashinskoye field.

    According to the project approved by the state body at this oil field of TATNEFT, in 2022, it is planned to equip 9 production wells at two well pads. In total, within the framework of the project for the development of fields using the technology of a compacted grid of wells with drilling of small-diameter wells in 2022, it is planned to drill and equip 36 wells at the Yamashinskoye TATNEFT field. The potential fund for the technology in this field is more than 100 wells.

    The compacted well grid technology is a highly efficient method for increasing the Company’s oil production using a set of innovative solutions.

    During the implementation of the project, 100% import substitution is envisaged. To date, more than 1,700 wells with cumulative production of over 3 million tons have been commissioned in TATNEFT under the compacted grid drilling project.
