  • TATNEFT: Figures Demonstrating Results of Operations in May and during Five Months of 2016

    Crude Oil Production

    In May 2016 TATNEFT Group enterprises produced 2,381,642 tonnes of crude oil (104.6% versus May 2015, +105 919 tonnes) with the five months volume amounting to 11,596,296 tonnes (105% versus 2015, + 555,242 tonnes).

    The production volume of PJSC TATNEFT amounted to 2,352,747 tonnes of crude oil in May (104.5% versus May 2015, +100,691 tonnes) with the five months volume amounting to 11,455,579 tonnes (104.9% versus 2015, +534,900 tonnes). The greatest increase in production was provided by NGDUs “Elkhovneft”, “Almetyevneft”, “Bavlyneft” and “Aznakaevskneft” (more than 106 percent).

    The Company’s subsidiaries produced 28,895 tonnes in May 2016 at the licensed areas outside the Republic of Tatarstan (122.1 percent versus May 2015; +5,228 tonnes) with the five months volume amounting to 140,717 tonnes (116.9 percent, +20,342 tonnes).

    The estimated production level was surpassed at PJSC TATNEFT in May by 77,244 tonnes (103.4 percent) with the five months figure amounting to 273,589 tonnes (102.4 percent). The highest overfulfillment since the beginning of the year was ensured by NGDUs “Bavlyneft”, Elkhovneft” and “Almetyevneft”.

    High-viscosity oil production amounted to 61,255 tonnes (+21,903 tonnes to the plan; 155.7 percent), 226,427 tonnes since the beginning of the year (+40,613 tonnes; 121.9 percent).

    The subsidiaries of TATNEFT overfulfilled the plan in May in the licensed areas outside the Republic of Tatarstan by 2,080 tonnes (107.8 percent) with the production volume for five months amounting to 9,484 tonnes (107.2 percent).

    New Drilling

    229 new wells were built and delivered to customers during five months in 2016, with the production well drilling amounting to 155 wells; 2 exploratory; drilling to bitumen: 72 wells.

    Active Well Stock Drilling

    There were 37 sidetracks and horizontal wellbores delivered during five months in 2016.

    The average number of crews engaged in conventional drilling during five months of 2016 amounted to 47. 12 drilling crews were engaged in drilling sidetracks and horizontal wellbores. 7 drilling crews performed drilling to the bituminous deposits.

    Drilling of wells for OOO “Tatneft-Samara”, in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug and the Republic of Kalmykia

    Drilling of wells has been started currently for OOO “Tatneft-Samara”. The plans for the current year provide for drilling 6 wells.

    Construction of 3 wells is underway in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, all the wells are in the process of drilling.

    Construction of 2 wells for OOO “Severgaznefteprom” is underway. Rigged operation  is carried out at both wells site of now.

    Drilling of well No. 1at Bariernaya area is underway in the Republic of Kalmykia. As of June 3, 2016  the bottom was at 5,040 m (design depth: 5800).

    Repair of Wells

    During five months of 2016 remedial well servicing was performed in 3,831 wells by the crews of remedial servicing, workover and enhanced oil recovery at the sites of PJSC TATNEFT (647 wells in May), while workover operations were performed in 879 wells (181 wells in May).

    Outside the Republic of Tatarstan remedial servicing operations were performed in 19 wells at OOO “Tatneft-Samara” and 9 wells at OOO “Tatneft-Severny”.

    Formation hydrocracking operations were carried out in 302 wells (66 wells in May).

    Crude oil recovery enhancement operations were performed in 1,070 wells (230 wells in May), including chemical methods applied in 529 wells (125 wells in May).

    Production Performance of JSC TANECO

    The TANECO Complex of Refining and Petrochemical Plants processed 825.4 thousand tonnes of raw materials in May 2016 and 3,959.8 thousand tonnes since the beginning of the year, including 741.3 thousand tonnes of petroleum feedstock and 3,626.7 thousand tonnes since the beginning of the year.

    The Complex yielded 792.8 thousand tonnes of petroleum products in May 2016 and 3,806.3 thousand tonnes since the beginning of the year.
