  • Tatneft Will Participate in the Project to Develop the Bibi-Heybat Field in Azerbaijan

    The head of the company, Nail Maganov, noted that Bibi-Heybat is one of the oldest deposits in the republic.

    Tatneft will participate in a project to develop one of the oldest fields in Azerbaijan – Bibi-Heybat, where it will work together with the Azerbaijani company Socar on the introduction of technologies. This was announced by the head of Tatneft Nail Maganov during the “Dialogue on equal terms” with participants of the V International Oil and Gas Youth Forum in Almetyevsk.

    “We have very close cooperation with Socar. We are now entering the Bibi-Heybat field, where we, together with our colleagues from Socar, will be implementing the technologies that are available to us,” he said, noting that Bibi-Heybat is one of the oldest deposits in Azerbaijan.

    Maganov added that Tatneft also works together with Socar in Turkey and is actively working in the field of petrochemical development and reconstruction of oil refineries.

    “We are pleased to work on these topics with our colleagues,” the head of Tatneft emphasized.
