Tenaris: Becomes Service Provider After Acquisition of Baker Hughes’ Fracturing and Wireline Units in Argentina

Tenaris announced today it has completed the acquisition of onshore hydraulic fracturing and wireline assets from Baker Hughes Argentina, including a pressure pumping fleet, coiled tubing unit and related equipment.

Javier Martínez Álvarez, Tenaris President for the Southern Cone stated: “This acquisition will enable us to become a relevant player in the onshore non-conventional services sector, and particularly for the Vaca Muerta shale play. This is a path we began in 2019 with the operation of a first Coiled Tubing unit. We look forward to expanding our product and services offering to our customers in the region”.
