  • The Asset of NK Neftisa is Preparing to Start Oil Production in the Sverdlovsk Region

Uralnefteservis has begun the process of approving the construction of production wells

JSC Uralnefteservis (part of NK Neftisa, which is associated with businessman Mikhail Gutseriev) announced public hearings on environmental impact assessment (EIA) as part of the project for the development of well 1P of the Krasilnikovsky license area.

We are talking about the development of an oil field in the Krasnoufimsky district of the Sverdlovsk region. The company has been engaged in the process of additional exploration and development of production technology since 2020. The main oil production site for the Neftisy asset is the Ozhginskoye field in the neighboring Kungursky district of the Perm Territory.

Let us recall that in 2017, PJSC Permneftegeofizika (part of the state holding Rosgeologiya) began exploration in 2D and 3D formats in the Verkhoyazskaya and Yuzhno-Burgundinskaya areas of the Krasilnikovsky license area. A few years earlier, the LUKOIL company showed interest in this territory. In 2013, LUKOIL-Perm LLC submitted a request to Uralnedra for a license for geological exploration of the field, but the results of geological exploration were never made public. Later information appeared that industrial oil reserves in this area were close to 5 million tons.
