The East Siberian Oil and Gas Company Completed Winter Deliveries to the Yurubcheno-Tokhomskoye Field
The East Siberian Oil and Gas Company, a subsidiary of Rosneft, summed up the results of the operation of temporary winter roads in the Boguchansky and Evenkiy municipal districts of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. During the winter road period from December 2023 to April 2024, oil workers fulfilled the plan for the winter delivery of material and technical resources to the Yurubcheno-Tokhomskoye field, delivering more than 33 thousand tons of cargo to the production site.
To implement the delivery program, a winter road “p. Belyaki – Yurubcheno-Tokhomskoye field” with a length of 245 km. Ice crossings across the large Evenk rivers Irkineeva, Kamo and Tokhomo were put into operation. The ice thickness reached 130 cm, which allowed the passage of equipment weighing up to one hundred tons.
On average, about 30 cars drove along the winter road per day – that’s more than 1,200 trips over the entire period. The main range of cargo included reinforced concrete products, cable and pipe products, metal structures, equipment, cement, fuels and lubricants and other cargo for the construction and maintenance of the field.
The total length of regional winter roads in Evenkia is more than 4 thousand kilometers, a quarter of which are ice winter roads. The winter road plays an important role for residents of the region – it connects the villages of the Baykit group of settlements with year-round public roads, making it possible to travel to the regional center. Road communication allows residents and municipal enterprises of the area to organize the delivery of food and other vital goods.
