VSNK Produced the Jubilee 10 Millionth ton of Oil
The East Siberian Oil and Gas Company (VSNK, a production asset of Rosneft) has produced 10 million tons of oil since the beginning of the development of the Yurubcheno-Tokhomskoye field (YTM) in the Evenki municipal district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Achievement of this cumulative production indicator was made possible due to the early commissioning of a number of key facilities of the field, the start of outstripping feedstock supplies to the Eastern Siberia – Pacific Ocean oil pipeline, as well as innovative technologies applied in the upstream segment. Advanced approaches to field development allow increasing the coverage of a productive reservoir and increasing the oil recovery factor.
In 2016, the enterprise began to advance oil supplies to the system of main oil pipelines. In 2017, operation began in the integrated testing mode of the Oil Treatment Unit-1, which made it possible to reach an oil production level of 2.3 million tons per year in 2018. Also in 2018, the construction of the Oil Treatment Unit-2 was completed ahead of schedule, the commissioning of the facility increased the production capacity of oil treatment at the field to 6 million tons per year.
At present, The East Siberian Oil and Gas Company well stock comprises 139 horizontal production wells, of which 6 are multilateral wells. Since the beginning of the work, the company’s specialists have laid 100 km of roads, 140 km of power transmission lines at UTM, built and commissioned more than 200 infrastructure facilities, including oil treatment units, an acceptance point, an oil pumping station, a block separation unit, diesel power plants, boiler houses , a tank farm for 30 thousand m 3 , a base of contractors, a rotational camp and a hostel for 2500 places and others.
In this year is to be commissioned priority objects rational use of APG: fuel gas preparation unit 312 million cubic meters capacity. 3 / year, gas compressor station, the high pressure gas pipe bush gas injection wells. Also, the construction of power plants for own needs and a fuel gas treatment unit No. 2 is underway.
Yurubchenskaya oil with a low content of sulfur and paraffins serves as a non-alternative raw material for local boiler houses and generating stations that generate heat and electricity for housing and communal services in villages, as well as for industrial needs.
