The Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Spoke About Support for the Vostok Oil Project
The Krasnoyarsk Territory is not yet planning new support measures for the Rosneft Vostok Oil project, all benefits have already been introduced, the project is going according to plan, said the regional governor Mikhail Kotyukov.
“Today our project has already been structured… Therefore, all the necessary support measures, federal, regional, have already been integrated. So, the project is moving according to plan… Everything is going according to plan,” he told reporters at the Rosneft site as part of the exhibition “Russia” at VDNKh.
“Not yet,” he answered when asked whether new benefits were planned for the project.
Rosneft, as part of the Vostok Oil project, plans to form a new oil and gas province on the Taimyr Peninsula. It is expected to combine the already developed fields of the Vankor group and new fields in the north of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. To meet the needs of the project, a port is being built in Sever Bay, from which oil is planned to be exported along the Northern Sea Route. The resource base of the project is estimated at 6.5 billion tons of liquid hydrocarbons.
