  • The Increase In Gazprom Reserves Exceeded Production For The Nineteenth Year In A Row

The increase in Gazprom’s reserves in 2023 again exceeded production volumes; the reserve replacement rate has been above one for the 19th year in a row, the company notes.

Exact figures on the increase in reserves, as well as on production indicators, are not given in the message.

The largest increase in reserves was obtained in the Yamal gas production center – on the land of the Yamal Peninsula and the Yamal shelf of the Kara Sea, in particular at the Malyginskoye field and the 75 Let Pobedy field.

“Good results” of exploration in the Yakut gas production center are also noted: an increase in gas reserves was obtained at the Tas-Yuryakhskoye field, and four new deposits were discovered at the Verkhnevilyuchanskoye field. In addition, in 2023, Gazprom became the winner in auctions for the right to use the subsoil of three areas in Yakutia – Gorny, Suntarsky-1 and Sinsky.
