The Jubilee Exhibition “Neftegaz-2021” has Opened
The official opening ceremony of the 20th anniversary international exhibition of equipment and technologies for the oil and gas complex Neftegaz-2021 was held at the Expocentre Fairgrounds . This is one of the world’s leading exhibitions with the participation of foreign and domestic leaders of the oil, gas and energy industries.
The exhibition was organized by Expocentre in partnership with the German exhibition company Messe Dusseldorf GmbH with the support of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, specialized unions, under the patronage of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia.
Opening the ceremony, Acting General Director of Expocentre AO Alexey Vyalkin said that this year the best innovative solutions in the oil and gas industry are being demonstrated by more than 400 companies from 23 countries. Among them are the leading manufacturers and suppliers of oil and gas and oil refining equipment, petrochemical holdings, oil and gas production and processing enterprises. National expositions at the exhibition were organized by companies from Germany and the Czech Republic.
He also noted that the Neftegaz exhibition is traditionally held jointly with the National Oil and Gas Forum. As a result, one of the largest and most professional demonstration and communication platforms on relevant topics in our country has been created.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, RF CCI President Sergei Katyrin stressed that the fuel and energy complex is the backbone of the Russian economy, and the Neftegaz exhibition, in turn, is one of the main technical exhibitions that demonstrates the capabilities of Russian companies and foreign partners. He also noted with satisfaction that, despite the period of the pandemic, Neftegaz-2021 in terms of area even surpasses the previous exhibition, which took place in 2019. It is also important that the number of Russian participating companies has increased, said the head of the Chamber.
Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Mikhail IvanovIn his welcoming speech, he also drew attention to the impressive list of Neftegaz-2021 participants from more than 20 countries, which, in his opinion, speaks of the attractiveness of the oil and gas engineering industry for a wide range of specialists. This also confirms that Expocentre organizes the exhibition at the highest level in compliance with all epidemiological requirements, the Deputy Minister emphasized. He especially noted that the exhibition and the National Oil and Gas Forum are accompanied by an extensive business program. Many topics to be discussed are of high relevance. These are, for example, issues of energy transition, the introduction of a cross-border carbon tax, technological development and transformation of the fuel and energy complex. The Ministry of Industry and Trade plans to take an active part in the upcoming discussions, said Mikhail Ivanov.
Participants, guests and organizers of the Neftegaz-2021 exhibition and NSF were also warmly congratulated on the opening by Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for Subsoil Use Orest Kasparov , Assistant to the Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation Kirill Molodtsov , President of the Union of Oil and Gas Producers of Russia Gennady Shmal , President of the Russian Union of Chemists Viktor Ivanov , General Director of OOO Messe Dusseldorf Moscow Thomas Stenzel .
Neftegaz-2021 is being held from April 26 to April 29 at the Expocentre Fairgrounds in pavilions 1, 2, 4, 7 (halls 3. 4. 5), 8 and in open areas.
