The Ministry Of Energy Has Revealed A Plan For Oil Production In Russia For 2024
The preliminary plan for oil and condensate production in Russia for 2024 is 523 million tons, gas – 667 billion cubic meters, said the head of the Russian Ministry of Energy Nikolai Shulginov.
“Preliminarily – 523 (million tons – ed.) oil, gas – 667 (billion cubic meters – ed.),” he said at a press conference, answering a question about preliminary forecasts for oil and gas production in 2024.
Previously, the International Energy Agency (IEA) predicted an increase in gas production in Russia to 664 billion cubic meters by the end of December 2024. At the same time, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak reported that at the end of 2023, oil and gas condensate production in Russia decreased by within one percent, to approximately 530 million tons.
