The Office of Maritime Policy Will Protect Russia’s Rights on the Shelf
The Office of the President of the Russian Federation for National Maritime Policy will deal with issues of protecting Russia‘s rights on its continental shelf, follows from the regulations on the Office of the President of the Russian Federation for National Maritime Policy.
The decree of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin approving the provision is posted on the official publication of legal information website.
“The main Management functions are: .. The implementation and protection of the sovereign rights of the state on the continental shelf of the Russian Federation related to the exploration and development of its natural resources,“ the document says.
