  • The Platform of the 11th Phase of the South Pars Field was Installed in Iran

    The Phase 11 platform of the Iranian South Pars gas field was successfully installed in the Persian Gulf on Wednesday morning thanks to the efforts of experts from the National Iranian Oil Company.

    The installation of the Phase 11 platform, which with the Oceanic vessel reached the very border area of South Pars, began on Tuesday evening, June 27, thanks to the efforts and planning of Iranian specialists from the National Iranian Oil Company, Pars Oil and Gas Company and in cooperation with Petropars and ended on Wednesday morning.

    The relocation of the 3,200 ton Phase 11 platform as the heaviest platform in this field will bring gas production to this important and strategic phase 20 years later.

    Production of 56 million cubic meters of gas per day is the main goal of the development of the 11th phase of the South Pars field.
