  • The Program for Additional Capitalization of Rosgeologia in 2024 May be Reduced by 4 Times

The additional capitalization program of JSC Rosgeologia is planned to be reduced in 2024. This follows from the explanatory note to the draft federal budget for 2024-2026. which Interfax got acquainted with.

“The change in the parameters of the financial support of the state program “Reproduction and Use of Natural Resources” is due to: (…) a decrease in budget allocations for the contribution to the authorized capital of the joint stock company “Rosgeologiya” (…) in 2024 by 1,500 million rubles compared to volumes approved by Law No. 466-FZ, in connection with the redistribution to other activities of the state program of the Russian Federation “Reproduction and use of natural resources,” the document says.

The Law “On the Federal Budget for 2023 and for the Planning Period of 2024 and 2025” (N466-FZ) provided for the additional capitalization of Rosgeo in 2024 by 2 billion rubles. Thus, the volume of investments in the authorized capital may be reduced by 4 times to 500 million rubles.

Initially, the additional capitalization program for Rosgeologiya, designed for a three-year period (2022-2024), envisaged annual investments in the authorized capital of 4 billion rubles.

In February 2023, it was adjusted for the first time, approving a reduction in contributions in 2023 and 2024 from 4 billion to 2 billion rubles. In June of this year, the second adjustment was approved – reducing the 2023 contribution from 2 billion rubles to 1 billion 397 million 347 thousand rubles.

Thus, taking into account all the adjustments and if the current version of the 2024 budget is approved, the additional capitalization program of Rosgeo JSC in 2022-2024 will be reduced from the original 12 billion rubles to 5.897 billion rubles.
