The United States Slightly Lowered the Forecast of Oil Production in the Country in 2023 – by 10 Thousand b/d, to 12.53 Million b/d
The US Department of Energy has lowered the forecast for oil production in the country (excluding other liquid hydrocarbons) for 2023 from 12.54 million b / d to 12.53 million b / d, according to the monthly forecast of the Energy Information Administration (EIA) of the Department of Energy.
At the same time, the forecast indicator is 640 thousand b/d higher than the result of 2022 – 11.89 million b/d. It is also 230,000 b/d higher than the last U.S. average annual record of 12.3 million b/d set in 2019.
The agency also lowered its 2024 production forecast by 60,000 bpd to 12.69 million bpd.
