  • There Are No Plans To Create A Single State Oil Service Operator In Russia

First Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Pavel Sorokin noted that there are ideas for combining some service assets.

The creation of a single state oil service operator in Russia is not currently planned, said First Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Pavel Sorokin as part of Energy Day at the international exhibition and forum “Russia”.

“There are no plans to create a state operator. This is a private matter for the companies. There are various ideas for combining a number of service assets so that there is synergy, but here it should mature more organically,” he said.

The international exhibition and forum “Russia” takes place from November 4, 2023 to April 12, 2024 at VDNKh in Moscow. It was organized to demonstrate the country’s most important achievements in various sectors of the economy; all 89 Russian regions presented their expositions. TASS is the general news agency of the forum.
