TMK and the Moscow Innovation Agency Launch an Acceleration Program for Moscow Startups
Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) and the Moscow Innovation Agency have launched an acceleration program as part of the PipeIndustryTech Moscow Accelerator track. The participants were 30 teams, the best of which will get a chance to implement their projects at TMK enterprises.
Startups will have a number of meetings with piloting managers and business customers, workshops on preparing speeches for potential clients and investors, on raising funds and entering the international market, individual strat sessions, master classes on trends in the development of the metallurgical industry and the implementation of pilot projects. Participants will present their modified products during the presentation day – “Demo Day”, which is scheduled for August 11.
Acceptance of applications for participation in the program started on March 26. During this time, the organizers registered 321 projects in three areas: new technologies and solutions for the pipe industry, new production technologies and ecology.
“The pipe industry is one of the most high-tech industries in metallurgy, where new materials are developed, advanced engineering solutions are applied, and digital modeling is actively used. To maintain a high pace of development, we are entering the startup market and plan to attract talented developers to collaborate on innovative technologies. Among the projects presented, there are undoubtedly many solutions that can increase the efficiency and environmental friendliness of production. In the process of acceleration, we will help to refine the best of them and assess their potential for implementation in TMK, ”said Igor Pyshmintsev, Director for Research, Head of the Scientific and Technical Center (STC) of TMK.
